Piccolo Mondo.

With previous visits proving so successful, the Piccolo Mondo has been booked again for 8th October. It is bound to be oversubscribed (we have had to stop at 107 for the Atlantic Brasserie lunch) so get your application in by return when the flyer comes out. This will probably be our last visit here.

27th August.

This event is now sold out.

Atlantic Brasserie

You will have received the application form for a lunch here on 14th May. Last year was hugely successful and this year will be as well. Janette is already being inundated with applications.

As previously intimated, this will be one our last events so we hope you enjoy it.

25/2/25.

With 100 applications we are regrettably now SOLD OUT

WAR HORSE

We have booked tickets for this production on 2nd April 2025 matinee at the Theatre Royal. You may have seen the film. Put this in your diaries now and look out for the flyer in due course.

The National Theatre’s acclaimed production returns in an all-new UK and Ireland tour. War Horse is an unforgettable theatrical experience which takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France. Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.

At the outbreak of World War One, Joey, young Albert’s beloved horse, is sold to the Cavalry and shipped to France. He’s soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in No Man’s Land. Albert, who remained on his parents’ Devon farm, cannot forget Joey. Though still not old enough to enlist, he embarks on a treacherous mission to find Joey and bring him home.

Blood Brothers

You may have seen this already but it is so good we have booked tickets to see it again at The Kings on 16th October matinee. Iconic songs and adults playing kids. Got to say it is in my top three musicals of all time. A date to put in your diary now.

16th May

This is now sold out.
